Bertil Ingelsson is mentioned from 1652 to 1683. He is farmer in Sel on a farm of 5 1/2 sel (1 sel = about 3500 square metres) from 1653 to 1683 but not in 1687. There is a gap in the register for the years 1684-86.

The lay assessor Bertil Ingelsson in Sel reported at the district court sessions in Ramsele 1672 about a quarrel between him and the two Finnish men Erik and Per Zackrisson. They wanted with help of a witness to prove that Bertil in 1669 outside the church in Ramsele had said, after having heard Johan Persson in Holmstrand, that the lay assessors in Helgum have deserved to be exposed to the axe of the executioner and if the King has no executioner he himself has to be executioner. Erik and Per wanted to hear Abraham Nilsson in Västby as witness. But Abraham had run away after having been accused of fornication. Bertil Ingelsson informed that he had met Johan Persson in Holmstrand. Johan then told him that the lay assessors in Helgum had said the following when Johan did not came to the parish meeting "Even if the executioner came after Johan Persson in Holmstrand with his axe, Johan should not come to the meeting". They also said that if Johan deserved to be executed by an executioner they knew that the King hade a sufficient number of executioners.

Bertil had earlier accused the Finnish farm hands Erik and Peder of having embezzled the tithes, which should be paid to the Crown. Erik and Peder were sentenced for this crime. After that they have tried to accuse Bertil of the incident described above.

The second act came already in the next case. Karin in Sel, the mother of the Finnish boys, accused the lay assessor Bertil Ingelsson, when he in 1669 was inspector of the payment of tithes. He showed that she and her sons hided away the tithes from a burn-beat far away on the mountain. She then gave Bertil as a settlement or a bribe 1 tunna (147 litres) of rye so that he should keep silent and not accuse her. Now after three years he has, however, accused her and she has been fined. For that reason she now wants to get back the barrel with rye, which he had taken as a bribe. Bertil tried to blame that he had got the barrel with rye as a compensation for that he had walked a long distance up to the mountain to count her sheaves of rye. He was, however, convicted that he had taken the barrel with rye to keep silent. He was therefore sentenced to pay for the barrel of rye not to Karin but to the Crown. He also had to pay a fine of 3 daler smt and to withdraw from the mandate as lay assessor. (Judgement Book 23rd of March 1672 §§ 19-20).

Erik Olufsson was farmer in Nordantjäl and owner of the farm from 1652 to 1688. He and his neighbours Israel Helgesson and Filip Olofsson had in 1676 to leave 4 5/8 seland (1 seland = about 3500 square metres) to the Crown. But they got it back after a short time.
According to the Judgement Book of 1752 the sons Olof and Elias let their brother Henrik take over the farm. Henrik then conveyed the farm to Sara, who was a daughter of Olof.

Anders Göransson moved in 1690 with his family to a farm in Öster Tåsjö. Lars Andersson (ID 1406) in Rudsjö had earlier reported this farm as deserted. His daughter Margareta Larsdotter and her husband Jon Nilsson, who died as boatswain, had lived there.

Anders Göransson caused in 1690 a summons to be issued against Eric Andersson in Näset. He claimed that Eric was responsible for the death of his brother Henric Göransson. He said that Henric died 14 years old as a consequence of bad feeding. The court found Eric guilty and fined him 20 rdl silver coins.

Jon Jonsson bought in 1676 the farm in Vängel from the widow of Jon Israelsson.
Bertil Johnson claims that it is not sure which parents Jon had. There is namely a number of Jon Jonsson this time. Bertil thinks however that there is some information that combines to the interpretation he has chosen, namely that Jon belongs to one of the two Finn-families in Vängel and that the father of Jon was the person who accidentally shot his nephew.
