Anders Oluffson had in the year 1716 to accept that his son Erik was enrolled as boatswain. But he succeeded during the autumn the same year to contract a boy from Gransjö to be boatswain instead of Erik. This happened after that the boy had been promised to get one of Anders daughters as wife. During the years 1718-19 a number of cattle were collected in Helgum. They should be sent to the Finnish army in Jämtland. Anders Oluffsson had to contribute with a big bull. The following year he asked the inhabitants of the parish to contribute to the cost of the bull. When Anders stopped to use his farm he decided which one of his sons should get the right of possession by drawing lots. Per, who was the youngest one, won the drawing of lots. His uncle, however, informed the court that Per was only 13 years old. For that reason Per sold the farm to Eric, an older brother.
