He gives 1569 in tithes 1 spann (1 spann = 73,5 litres) barley and 1 fjärding (1 fjärding = 18,4 litres) rye. This is much less than what the previous owner of the same assessment unit of land paid. But this is something that varies from one year to the next. On the one hand one could have different harvest prospects because of unsuitable weather. On the other hand one normally sowed on burn-beaten land and for that reason the harvest could vary much from year by year. At the ransom of Älfsborg in 1571 he is reported to have 2 lisp (1 lispund = 8,5 kilos) copper, 5 cows, 2 three years old heifers, 9 goats, 1 mare and as money 9 mark and 1 öre. He had to pay the money he had, that is 9 marks and 1 öre. Oluff and Östen Olofsson from Fanby were at the district-court session in 1573 accused of having shot a moose when this was not allowed. But he is not mentioned all years in the normal registers as the soldiers, according to a royal letter, should have their lands exempted from taxes as long as they take part against the enemies of the country. He is not noted in the tithes tax 1571. In the year 1581 he sold to the sheriff 1 bearskin. Erik Pärsson had a violent temper as is shown in the judgements of the court.
