Kerstin (ID 1643), the younger sister of Knut, married Mårten Olofsson (ID 1642). This Mårten was also the younger brother of Ingrid (ID 1641), the wife of Knut. Knut and Mårten were then double brothers-in-law. In spite of this fact they seem not to have got well together. At the district court sessions in 1666 for instance Knut was fined 40 daler because he had accused Mårten to be a thief.

Knut Andersson took over the farm of his father about 1603. According to the register of cattle in 1635 Knut had 1 mare, 9 cows, 8 sheep and 1 goat. In 1655 Knut got a certificate of registration title on the farm in Böle of 12 seland (1 seland = about 3500 square metres) after he had paid shares of the inheritance to his brothers and sisters. He also used a farm of 4 1/2 seland in Orrnäs. This probably was an inheritance from his mother.

Knut got lay assessor in about 1645. He obviously was a richly coloured person. In accordance with ancient tradition he is still called "old-Knut".

In the 1860-decade they pulled down the building called D'önsarn in Böle. This was a very old cottage. When they had removed the rough floor they found a strongly tramped earthen floor with some remainders of pavements. The fireplace was situated in the middle of the cottage. When the ceiling was removed it was shown that the underneath of the roof was black of soot. In the middle of the roof there had been a smoke-hole, which later had been shut. The roof was covered with birch-bark and soil. When the cottage was pulled down there was in one corner a stove built of granite. On one wall there was a small window, a square with about 30 cm side, with lead panes. The logs were shaped only on the inner side with a narrow axe. The cottage was called "Knut's cottage" after Knut Andersson. It has probably passed on within the family since the Middle Ages.

Knut Andersson is found in many lawsuits at the district court sessions, for example:
• In 1644 he accuses Måns Pedersson of having bitten him in the thumb and another finger.
• In 1648 Knut and Eric Persson accuse Per Larsson in Rörstrand and his farm-hand of having taken their boat without permission and used it some weeks.
• In 1662 Knut and Johan Ericsson in Böle accuse Isac Persson Finne in Rörström of having built beaver-houses and also of shooting elk at illegal time in the forests owned by Knut and Eric. Isac was sentenced to pay 40 dalers for the beaver-houses and 49 dalers for the shot elk.
• In 1666 Knut is accused of tax evasion. He has tried to avoid the mill toll by saying that he has leaved the farm to his sons. As this is shown to be not true Knut is sentenced to pay the toll and also fine.

Knut married Ingrid Olofsdotter, XI:618.

They had the following children:
i. Anders (1630-1699)
820 ii. Olof, X:309 (1640-1708)
iii. Kerstin (1640-)
iv. Peder (1641-)

Mårten Olofsson was farmer in Jansjö in the parish of Fjällsjö and later in Sil. He took over the farm in Jansjö after Olof Göransson when he died about 1635. But he let his brother Jon Olofsson take over the farm in 1645. He had been in the Thirty Years´ War since in 1631 and thus taken part at Breitenfeld and Lützen. Mårten Olofsson, who also was present in the war some year after that the brother had returned to the farm, moved to Sil, where still many descendants to him live. Mårten later got the owner of the whole village Sil.

Mårten Olofsson and Knut Andersson (ID 1640) were twice brothers-in-law. Knut married the oldest sister of Mårten, Ingrid Olofsdotter (ID 1641) and Mårten married the youngest sister of Knut, Kerstin Andersdotter (ID 1643). Thought this double relationship there were bad relations between Knut and Mårten, which is found from several cases in the Judgement book.

In spite of the bad relations between the brothers-in-law there was a marriage between the daughter Sara of Mårten and Kerstin and the son Olof of Knut and Ingrid. Sara and Olof were then double cousins.

Before 1641 Mårten married Kerstin Andersdotter, XI:620.

They had the following children:
i. Kerstin (1647-)
821 ii. Sara, X:310 (1648-1698)

iv. Olof (1653-1714)

Bengt Olofsson also lived in Krånge. In connection with the great witch-case in 1662 Bengt claimed that Erik practised witchcraft. But Bengt could not prove that this was true, why Erik was found to be not guilty and Bengt was fined.

Erik married NN Pehrsdotter, XI:622.

Pål Pålsson was farmer on Orrnäs, number 1 in Fjällsjö

Per Pålsson was a brother of Pål. He died and he then had some under age children. Anders Knutsson said that Pål had embezzled the inheritance of the children. For that reason Anders insisted upon that Pål should leave his farm as compensation to the children. This happened and Pål had to leave his farm. Then Anders persuaded Per Persson, the son of Per Pålsson, by "threats and fright" to exchange his new farm in Orrnäs against the farm owned by Anders in Mogård.

When Johan, the son of Pål Pålsson, returned from his military service as boatswain, he caused a summons to be issued against Anders Knutsson at the district courts sessions. He argued in favour of that his father should get his farm back. The court decided this. Pål could then return to Orrnäs and Anders had to move to Mogård.

Pål Pålsson was at a number of district courts sessions fined because he had used words of abuse against different persons. At midnight in January 1684 they had a bad weather and they got an accidental fire. The cow-house with all the cows was burnt out. The damage was valued to 143 daler kpmt, which sum Pål received.

In 1687 Pål (60 years old) leaves over his farm to the son John Pålsson, who now has to provide for his father.

Pål married Anna Johansdotter, XI:624.

They had the following children:

Eric Eriksson has, according to the 1630 register of cattle the following: 8 cows, 1foal, 2 goats, 1 ram, 4 sheep and 2 pigs. He uses 2 1/2 tunna (1 tunna = 147 litres) as sowing. Eric becomes in 1659 the first innkeeper in the parish and is released from taxes for 24 sel (1 sel = about 3500 square metres).

Eric was a person with an elastic conscience. He and Staffan Finn in Guxås are accused at the district court sessions in 1649 to have taken by force 2 lisp (1 lispund = 8,5 kilo) elk meat from among others Matz in Guxås. Another year the inhabitants of the village had to supply meat to the Crown. Erik had an old goat which had lied one week died out of itself. He skinned the goat and supplied the meat to the Crown. But someone of the neighbours had seen the bad behaviour and accuses him. Eric had to pay high fine.

From a sale of land in Helgum in 1649 it is clear that Eric then was remarried with the widow of Anders Eriksson.

Erik married Dordi, XI:630.

They had the following children:
826 i. Erik, X:315 (1628-1670)
