Codes and colours in the descendant chart

• ID 1 = Code number of the person. The number of the generation is given with Roman numerals and serial number with Arabic numerals.
  
  
• ID 2 = ID-number according to the system of Kekule von Stradonitz. The code of a father is equal to the code of a child multiplied by 2. The code of a mother is equal to the code of the father + 1.

In cases where we have loss of ancestors this is shown as in the figure above (from page 5 in the descendant chart). In the upper right corner there are two ** and the square has a white colour.

On line two is noted the number of lost ancestors. On line three is shown where the actual person first appears in the descendant chart and where information about the person is found.
